We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to join our team at a major power station in Loy Yang, VIC.


Drivie-In, Drive Our role, No FIFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and advise on all aspects of SHEQ performance at the power station.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of SHEQ policies, procedures, and
  management systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company requirements.
• Promote proactive risk management, incident investigation, and corrective action processes.
• Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors on SHEQ matters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational safety and environmental performance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders to maintain compliance and reporting standards.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in mining management and maintenance, with a focus on safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach to identifying and managing safety risks
• A leadership style that promotes teamwork and safety
• A track record of managing safety programs and improving safety performance
• Experience in maintenance management, especially in mining or conveyor industries, is a plus
